That : That is a good question. Menopause can have different effects on different patients. Some patients have absolutely no mood changes, some patients note mood swings, and some have worsening depression. If a patient had worsening depression there are hormonal and non-hormonal treatments that may improve their symptoms, so it is worthwhile to see a provider in that situation. Exercise, increased sleep, and healthy eating can also stablize mood in mild cases, but in more severe cases medications may be necessary.

Several: Mood can change as your hormones change, sometimes bioidentical hormones can be helpful,. There are many changes with menopause to adjust to, so be patient with yourself, OBGyn can give advise aobut specific rx for your specific concerns , everyone is different. Regular exercise , regular sleep, HEALTHY diet and positive attitude are a must ! Seeing a counselor to discuss the stress of change .
