Wait and gargle: There's a chance the clotted blood in your mouth makes your taste so. The suture material may be another culprit. It will probably get better as those things resolve gradually. You can try salt water gargles unless you've been doing those already. Magic mouth wash - liquid Benadryl (diphenhydramine) 5 cc + maalox 5 cc + viscous Lidocaine 5cc (usually for pain) + 1 table spoon of water, mixed up, swish and spit.

Rinse warm saltwater: Trying rinsing with warm salt water but don't forcibly spit out the solution. Just let it dribble out of your mouth so you don't disturb the clot and get a dry socket.

Antibiotics ?: Which one? Some patients have a side effect of metallic taste with certain antibiotics... Read the insert and see if that is the case for the one you are taking. If so, the taste should end when you finish the antibiotics.
