Stitches: If your stitches are reservable, they should start falling out this next week. If non-resorbable, they will have to be removed. Call your surgeon for instructions. As to bad breath/taste, may be due to infection or to compromised oral hygiene. Again, call your Surgeon for advice.

Bad Breath: The stitches will dissolve over time (2-6 weeks depending on the type used) if they are not silk sutures typically black so see your dentist to have that checked. Re bad breath are you rinsing vigorously 3x/day? It is common to get food trapped as the sockets heal you may need a curved syringe to remove the debris with water so see your surgeon for this.
