Possible : Possible , two thirds of lung cancers will not have curative surgery , due to late diagnosis, or too late for surgery due to spread, or not surgical candidates like small cell cancers , may be your doctor want to make sure , you get the best treatment by early diagnosis , so get the ct done and discuss with your doctor.
