Doctor eval: High bp, palpitations and heartburn in a prior smoker, drinker needs to be evaluated by a physician. If you have a primary care physician make an appointment and get in soon. You may require a medication to treat the symptoms, but the underlying status of your heart needs to be checked out. Good luck!
