What is the drug of choise for pid and for how long and the dose of it plz.?

Current recomendatio: According to epocrates, the current recommendation for pid treatment in an outpatient setting is for 250mg of Ceftriaxone as a shot, along with 100mg doxycyline 2x day for 2 weeks and possibley 500mg of Metronidazole twice a day for 2 weeks. There are alternatives if you are allergic to these meds.
