What is the chance that having pid will cause infertility? dose it alway cause infertility, or is there still a chance you will conceive?

No specifics: Pid does hamper reproductive capability anwhere from 10% to 40% per tubal infection. That being said, every body is different. There is always a chance.

Moderate to High: A significant number of women will have infertility after 1 episode of pid. After more than 1 episode of pid, the chances are very high. Pid can damage and even block fallopian tubes. So it is worthwhile to get an xray of the tubes, called a hysterosalpingogram, to know where you stand. However, many women still conceive naturally and many will need fertility treatment with ivf.
