My 13 yr daughter was diagnosis with type 1 dm 6/29/13.her lmp was 5/8/13.she hasn't gotten her period since then.is this normal?she had regular menses.

Stress: The stress to the body of diabetes can interfere with menses. If she lost a lot of weight before the diagnosis, that can also interfere. Her anxiety about the diagnosis can also interfere.
