A member asked:

My daughter will be 13 next month. she started menstruation one year ago. her periods have always occurred every 10-14 days for a year now.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Doctor can evaluate: That is a lot of menstrual bleeding days. An ob-gyn who takes care of teen girls can help. Parents can ask the primary care doctor for a recommendation. The ob-gyn doctor can evaluate to see how bad the problem is, and might use some medication to decrease the number of periods to a more normal, more convenient amount.
