Let them: Continue to evaluate your niece to obtain a diagnosis and also let them treat her when there is something to treat. You being scared won't help her, but praying could.

Fear of CT scan: Just relax and pray for the best. The ct scan is to make sure that there is nothing serious, it doesn't mean that there is something serious present.
