MI?: What is your doctor looking for? Ct scan are good for bony pathology. Mri good for soft tissue differentiation.

Depends on what: Is being looked for, but MRI is very accurate for looking at the soft tissues and organs in the abdomen and pelvis. If the concern is about blood vessels or bones, cta or ct would be better. Please talk about your options with your doctor.
