It depends: If your pre-pregnancy weight was morbidly obese, obese, or overweight than yes....Losing weight through diet & exercise is perfectly safe and actually better for you that not eating healthy and exercising regularly...The hormone HCG will assure that your developing fetus gets adequate nutrition in addition to the food you eat!
