Implantation bleed: Implantation bleeding is much more common on the internet than in real life. It occurs rarely and exclusively in someone who is pregnant. The only way to know if someone had implantation bleeding or just irregular menstrual bleeding is to wait and see if you are pregnant. If your test is positive then this was implantation bleeding. If it is negative then it is just irregular menstrual bleeding.

How long does implantation take after conception?

2-3 weeks: Day 1 is the first day of menses; day 14 is ovulation day; day 28 is implantation day. Depending on the woman's cycle duration and accounting for variability it could be 2-3 weeks. Sometimes, women confuse 2 days of light spotting (implantation bleeding) with a period; when in actuality, their last "real period" was a month prior.
