A member asked:

I have had swelling in the upper stomach area for 10 weeks and no one seems to be able to find the problem?

Doctor's exam/ Xrays: A medical exam is necessary. Swelling in upper abdomen can be caused by an enlarged liver, or spleen or a mass in that area from another cause. There is a reason to check this area out completely with a ct scan. If the ct scan is normal then you do not have to worry about this ' swelling' i hope it is not collection of fluid. That will also show up on a ct scan. Then ask your doctor to explain it.
