Laser removal: It will not spread the ink and i suggest you do it if your skin is not currently inflamed. You do not want to apply laser to inflamed skin.

Spread partly: The laser only breaks up the pocket containing the pigment so that your body cells (macrophages) can take the pigment away. The allergic reaction may potentially spread to the adjacent area but not likely in a generalized fashion. Besides you have no other choice any way . I do not believe the problem can be worse than what it has been by lasering the tattoo.

Possibly: There have been case reports of systemic allergic reactions to vaporized tattoo ink during laser removal including anaphyllactic reactions. Certain lasers are more prone to cause this reaction. If you have a history of a severe reaction to ink and must remove the tattoo, surgical methods of removal may be safer.
