Not Likely: If you have the tattoo treated with an appropriate laser, usually a Q-switch (fast pulse) the effects should be limited to disruption of the tattoo pigment in the skin. I have seen tattoos treated with an inappropriate laser that lead to burns, scarring, but no other type of health issues. Hope that helps.
