Seizure Disorder: Acute allergy to something might have been worked as seizure trigger in this case. There are many other causes of seizure trigger, e.G stress, infection, dehydration, poor sleep, etc etc. Seizure disorder needs to be evaluated preferably by a neurologist to find out the type and management accordingly.

Not likely related: A lot has been learned about the inheritance of certain forms of epilepsy. You should speak to his neurologist about this. Little known about the relationship of seizure disorders and allergies
