Migraine aura: Monosodium glutamate (msg) is a very common migraine trigger. Gluten can be a trigger for people with intolerance to wheat, barley, etc. A normal eeg is only 70% sensitive/ likely to pick epileptiform abnormalities; nonetheless, seeing wiggly lines soon after eating food triggers is very characteristic of migraine aura.
