Yes it does: Any injury or stresful event may cause a sudden increase in white cells. Eosinophiles are included in the white count. Other than total count we also look at the differential. That means how many of each type of white cell.

Not neccesarily: Blood usually show elevated WBC with infections and eosinophilia with allergic responses. Muscle injury will show elevated cpk.
