Throw away the neosp: Leave it open & wash it. The bandaid is macerating it so it is gooey. Throw away the neosporin as it is a common sensitizer which should not be used on any wounds according to 2 recent studies. An allergic reaction to neosporin will make it red, swollen & weepy. You can lubricate it with vaseline or aquaphor.

Use gauze: Use gauze instead of a bandaid so the nailbed can breathe. If it is not too gooey leave it open at night. Once it has dried down you don't need to cover it? If the gauze doesn't stick to the nailbed i would not use the neosporin.

Try: Leaving off the bandage as such as possible to let it dry out. Look for signs of infection or excessive drainage and if pus call your doctor. Likely will heal on its own soon if not infected.
