Laceration/abrasion: See MD studies show tetanus vaccination is indicated even for small wounds that break the skin. Bring to MD to see if she has cellulitis or a decubitus ulcer. If redness spreads may need IV or oral antibiotics. Wash gently liquid soap keep clean and dressed twice a day with bacitracin.
