A member asked:

Skin on side of big toe where nail meets the skin is slightly inflamed for 1 week. pus when i press it. slightly red, not sore. would neosporin help?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Paronychia: Neosporin does not help , doctor needs to drain the pus and send to lab for culture. You will be put on antibiotic after draining the pus. So , go to an urgent care if you can not get a hold of a foot doctor or your primary care doctor.
