Ambien (zolpidem) Withdrawal: You may have difficulty sleeping for a couple of weeks. But, you will get to a place where you can sleep naturally again. Hang in there. This is a very good decision you have made.

That depends: If you have been taking average doses short-term and the cause of your insomnia has resolved, then this could go smoothly. If you have been taking Ambien long-term, or have developed a tolerance to it, you may find yourself sleeping poorly.
