Depends on care : If good wound care with twice a day cleansings with a mild soap followed by an occlusive moist dressing with ointment or topical antibiotic cream (if needed), wound healing could occur in 10-14 days. This will depend on the depth of the second degree burn and the density of ad exam structures (hair follicles and sweat/oil glands) in the effected area. Minimize swelling with elevation (if hand).

Days to weeks: It all depends on the depth of the burn and the type of wound care carried out. Wash with soap and water and apply antibiotic ointment to the open areas and keep covered. Don't let it dry out. If the burn wound is deeper see a wound care specialist. I assume your daughters tetanus immunization is up to date.

Depends on: Whether it's a deep or superficial second degree burn, but it should be healed in approximately 2 weeks, with good wound care.
