FACT: YOU MENTIIONED: Frequent hand washing and not using hand lotion afterwards results in dry, red, cracked skin on the dorsum with some burning; this happens more in winter. Cold, dry air of winter causes quick evaporation of water from skin. If someone has tendency of atopy/eczema, they are more symptomatic. Make sure your daughter uses moisturising lotion more frequently.
