Can be normal: A 2 cm corpus luteum is a normal finding. Sometimes they can cause pain. Your insides are not as precise as your skin in knowing where pain is coming from, so it could cause pain on both sides. If this is the cause of pain it should steadily get better over a few weeks. If pain doesn't improve or worsens, let your gyno know.
