Transvaginal ultrasound found left small simple cyst less then 3 cm. gyno was not concerned. i had a rectal mri for an unrelated issue which noted a 2.5 cm left complex cyst. i will follow up but what is more accurate in diagnosing cysts?

The MRI may be more accurate with the resolution. It is however possible that the nature of the cyst changed if there was much time difference in when the procedures were done.
