A 40-year-old female asked:

I have a hemorrhagic corpus luteum cyst measuring 63 x 43 x 42mm with 70cc. what size is this in cm and are there any risks if it ruptures before my next ultrasound to find out what the gyno is going to do. 12 months ago it was 26 cc so its bigger?

Ovarian cyst ?'s: A hemorrhagic ovarian cyst may rupture, but fortunately this does not usually lead to emergent conditions. Your gyn physician may suggest oral bcps to suppress the conditions where hemorrhagic ovarian cysts can occur. These kinds of cysts may occur with endometriosis, and oral bcps may diminish adverse effects accordingly.
