YES: Yes, you can get the same treatment everywhere for cml- unless if you are talking about clinical trial- then it is a different case. CML accounts for 15-20%of chronic leukemia. Is associated with abnormal bcr-abl fusion gene-that is becoming the target of treatment. Treatment is oral pill -tyrosine kinase inhibitor- gleevec-1st generation tki- sprycel or tasigna (nilotinib) are newer meds-also available.
