Coital migraine: Your description is that of coital migraine. It frequently occurs near orgasm and it is treatable with indomethacin. I usually ask patients to take it between a half hour and hour before anticipated sex to minimize the risk of the migraine. You should discuss this with your neurologist. Good luck and take care.

Thunderclap: These kinds of headaches are triggered by intense hormonal events in both females and males, and unfortunately, are a very annoying migraine event. Best to be proactive and start a migraine preventative, or use botox. Both prescription, and otc products are available. Expect you should do very well on the appropriate approach.
