"water on the brain": Terminology--a cyst is a "lesion" as is any abnormality. Your symptoms sound as if you're having episodic rapid increases of pressure in your head due to blockage of spinal fluid pathways or compression of upper brainstem directly. This is serious. Get this check out soon by a neurosurgeon.

Depends: Pineal gland cysts are actually quite common, often discovered incidentally during an imaging study for other reasons. Doctors try to unify all symptoms with one diagnosis, but patients don't always stick to this rule. Have you consulted a neurologist? That is the next step. If you've seen a neurologist, then follow their directions to treat your migraines, dizziness etc.
