39yr old asian female healthy eater non- smoker ,cardio exercise and has good bmi for size has migraine aura about 4 in 2 yrs.have cystic acne wanted to see if the combined hormone pill would help are the stroke risks high in my case?data is complex?

I was never told medicine was easy. Recommend you go to uptodate.com & get a 1 month subscription & read all you can about these issues. Have you tired beta-blockers for migraine. Not sure what good BMI for size means. BMI is a way of measure "size" as it includes height and weight. I would try other things for migraine before starting hormones.Stoke risks are very low but very real. Discuss.
