Fluoride: One of the best ways to strengthen teeth & make them less susceptible to tooth decay is the incorporation of Fluoride into the actual structure of the enamel as they form. This is much better than any Fluoride treatment to the surface of teeth later on. Whether or not to use Fluoride supplements, vitamins with Fluoride or nothing depends upon the amount of Fluoride in the natural water supply.->.

Formula/Fluoride: It really depends upon whether your child is already receiving supplemental Fluoride in the form of a pediatric vitamin. If your child is not receiving supplemental Fluoride via a pediatric vitamin, then there is nothing wrong with using fluoridated water in the child's formula. Remember that it takes a very small amountflu of Fluoride in drinking water to achieve the dental benefits of fluoride.

Breast milk: Don't add fluoridated water on your own. A baby can get fluorosis from too much dietary fluoride. It's best to use breast milk. Breast milk is the best milk. If your baby could not latch on after birth, then check the lingual frenum for a tongue tie. Not breast feeding naturally may lead to incomplete formation of the maxilla, mandible, and the cranial base. This may lead to sleep apnea.

Either one is fine: Fluoride is important in the development of your baby's teeth. Without it, the enamel will be weak and decay easily. Talk to your pediatrician about proper dosage and ways to incorporate this mineral. Fluoride drops may be easier to regulate than water consumption. You're on the right track to keep your baby's teeth healthy!

With: I would recommend using water with fluoride. It has been proven that Fluoride in the water is most beneficial in making the enamel strong and decay resistant.
