Gum disease: If the bleeding persists despite flossing, you need to see a periodontist or dentist to determine if you have gum disease which can eventually result in tooth loss.

See your dentist: You definitely have an open contact in between teeth that must be eliminates or a localized periodontal problem such as vertical bone loss. You may also have periodontal abscess or a localized malocclusion. Must see a dentist to prevent losing the tooth.
