Yes and no: Proper flossing daily can eventually get the gums to the point where they will not bleed anymore. But be cautious, just because the gums may stop bleeding, there may still be evidence of periodontal disease, which breaks down the bony support around the teeth. Stay up to date with dental checkups and make sure you are flossing correctly.

Absolutely: Bleeding gums are indicative of inflamed tissue. If they do not bleed anymore, it's a good thing.
