A member asked:

What is considered enough cold from food that it could permanently damage the nerves in your teeth?

No damage: Eating cold foods, even ice cold , will not damage a healthy nerve in a tooth. Biting on ice can break teeth however.

Antartica: You will not damage your nerves with cold food alone. Ice chewing can make your teeth fracture though.
