Goals not feelings: Your body is the vehicle that gets you around in this life. Would you ever give junk gasoline to your car? The mind may want instant gratification due to stress, boredom, anger....A multitude of excuses to eat, not because the body needs fuel. You can never satisfy the mind with food. It is important to get at the root of the self defeating habits which may need a therapist. Focus on the goal.
