Not too long. : You do not want to be without a temporary crown for too long. Being without it will cause your other teeth to move in to the space of your new crown and your final crown won't fit. See your dentist asap.

Not long: Call your dentist today and get the temporary crown replaced. Without this the teeth around the crown will shift and it may be impossible to seat your crown.

Do it right away: Do it as soon as possible, due avoid infection, pain and growing of your gum tissues to the area.

If it still fits you may be able to use kid safe Elmer’s white glue. Ideally get it cemented as soon as possible. Chewing gum can also be used to help cover the tooth while waiting to get to the appointment.
