A member asked:

I am 28 years old, my bmi is 28.2. should i reduce weight for healthy pregnancy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Wouldn't hurt: While your bmi is not obese it is above the normal range which can increase your risk for complications of pregnancy as well as decreased fertility. I would encourage you to adopt healthy lifestyle changes.
