GERD: Gastroesophageal reflux disease (gerd), acid reflux or heartburn can be treated w/o medication by avoiding those foods which exacerbate the discomfort, remaining upright (including walking) for a period of time after each meal, eating smaller (more frequent) meals. You can walk immediately after washing the dishes as there's no requirement to wait. Just don't run or race. Your body will tell you.
