Silent reflux?: Often people who have silent reflux, also known as extra esophageal reflux or laryngopharyngeal reflux are very troubled by a sensation of drainage in the throat (or postnasal drip). They may feel like they have a lump or a feather in their throat or that they constantly have to clear their throat. Some over the counter medicines like Nexium (esomeprazole) or Prevacid can help, but you may want to see an ENT too.
