Options: As a sarcoid patient, i trust you've learned that often treatment is worse than the disease, and your wishes and your physician's judgement are key. You've probably already read about potassium iodide -- ask about this --, and about thalidomide -- you're male & there's no risk of harming your unborn child.

Sep 21, diagnosed with sarcoidosis, 20 yrs lupus SLE, put on oxygen/steroid therapy. Steroids for 30 days 40 mg to now 20 mg. Oxygen level stabilized at 97% w/out using oxygen, HR 70. Nightly, oxygen stays up but HR goes to 98/108, should ox be used?
