Steroids side effect: Steroids can affect fluid and electrolyte balance, and can also affect the way your body absorbs and processes nutrients (minerals and B vitamins) - all of which can increase headaches. Be sure to have your blood pressure checked as steroids can increase blood pressure, and elevated blood pressure can present as headaches. Be wary of your salt intake, and use the lowest effective dose.
