Just been put on steroids to control my sarcoidosis. i feel worse today. is this normal. how long before steroids will be in system and start to work.

Few more days: Steroids are commonly used to treat sarcoidosis and can significantly improve your symptoms. It may take several days to reach a therapeutic level so give the medication to reach this level. Steroids can have some side effects including anxiety, gastritis, increased sugar level etc. if you think the symptoms you are having are side effects of the medication speak with you physician to check.
