Unlikely: Poking doesnt sound like asthma. Could be a muscle spasm or an extra heartbeat (usually harmless). It sounds like you've had enough tests. The ct scan would show if there's something out of place. Maybe your body is telling you to lay off the cigarettes?

Stop smoking: You are probably experiencing muscle pains from the chest wall. It is very unlikely that anything serious is wrong since your tests were ok. Smoking, however, greatly increases your risk of developing serious diseases in the future.

Gold standard: Pulmonary function testing and methacholine challenge testing and empirical treatment with electronic peak flow meter and bronchodilator are the main tests to check for asthma. Discuss with your lung doc.
