A member asked:

I am hypothyroid patient and on thyroxin 100 . currently my tsh reading 4.98. what should i do ? my age is 32 weight 85 ht 5'7" sex female

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Check levels,,: Your TSH level is around the upper limit for normal in many accepted reference ranges and so it would be best to see your doctor for a thyroid panel before doing anything with your meds and then discussing it with your doctor. Apparently you've some symptoms but too much of the thyroid replacement med could have serious side effects. If your weight is 85kg, some exercise might also help.
