Maybe hyperthyroid?: Some people who are taking levothyroxine for hypothyroidism may at times experience swings towards the opposite (hyperthyroidism). Some of these swings are transient, others last longer (graves' disease). A good endocrinologist should be able to sort things out in these situations, with a number of tests, such as graves' disease antibody and/or radio iodine thyroid scan.
