Eye allergies: Itching is the most common symptom of eye allergies. Others include tearing, mucous, redness and eyelid swelling, as well as nasal symptoms. These respond well to various brands of otc or prescription allergy eye drops. Also, oral allergy medicines like Allegra and zyrtec may help with the symptoms.
