Stay in control: Hopefully the diet won't feel like a punishment. Realize that changing eating habits should be for life, not a temporary fix. Learn how to carefully count calories so you can control what you eat and how fast you will lose weight - don't try to lose it too quickly. One pound a week is enough. Learn to enjoy the feeling that you are in control.
