Most likely: The active ingredient is the same but the preservatives may b different. It depends on what caused the problem, the hyaluronic component or the preservatives. Is a roll of the dice. U may have a greater reaction next go round.

No: Synvisc (hylan g-f 20) contains a foreign protein (rooster comb) while orthovisc does not. Orthovisc will not cause the same reaction.
